We are a software technology company, and as such, need strong technical folks. In this position, you will be charged with developing, implementing, testing and supporting features that are requested by our clients. Your knowledge of multi-tier server-side programming and front end DHTML interface will be invaluable to enhancing our modular systems.

Obviously, you will have extensive coding experience and will have been able to solve some pretty tough problems. As well, since our organization is very team oriented, you'll be expected to enjoy interacting with people from all sorts of departments. A Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree might get you in the door, but proven performance is the primary factor that will establish your place within our organization.

Junior Web Developer

Join the Priv-IT Project team in developing our client applications. You will assist in the technical development of a variety of web-based applications. You will be challenged to understand, design, develop and support client requirements and specifications.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to excel in a wide range of technologies involved in building online applications. If you have great motivation, energy and ability to learn and wish to apply them in a very aggressive and multi-disciplinary environment, then we are the company for you.

• You will need a degree related to computer programming. A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is a definite plus but the ability for self-advancement; continuous learning and a keen attention to details are a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General and database programming skills are a must but experience in java and java enterprise will greatly reduce your learning time with us.
• Experience in web programming developing HTML, JavaScript and CSS is a must.

Senior Web Developer

Creativity, out of the box thinking, self motivated, senior and experienced are good adjectives to describe the role. You should be ready to get your hands dirty, but also be excited about leading other developers as the team grows.

Diversity in project type is definitely a characteristic that describes the environment. Typical projects are defined in days or weeks rather than months. Great if you like to work on many projects, but you must have an inherent confidence that comes from natural skill and quite a few years of experience.

All of junior developer requirements plus the following

• At least 2 years experience in server-side programming. Java, java enterprise, Hibernate3, Struts2, Spring knowledge is a definite plus.
• Ability to produce various project documentation such as customer requirements, design specifications and user documentation.
• Working knowledge of web design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Flash is a plus.
